Support Our Youth

Our Youth Group relies on the generous support of our congregation and community to help our fundraising goal of $1500-$2000 per person for our trienniel Youth Gathering. The Youth Gathering is a faith building, life changing event for teens ages 14-19. 

Our Youth Group would like to send some students to Youth Lead in San Antonio, TX in July 2027 so the teens can learn more about servant-leadership and sharing their faith. The next Youth Gathering will be the first week of July 2028 in San Antonio, TX. 

Candy Bar Sales are the only fundraiser that runs at any time the church office is open. This is a self-serve box where you place your money in the envelope. For every FOUR boxes that we sell, we earn enough money to purchase one plane ticket! If you are a Thrivent member, an Thrivent Action Team card can purchase four boxes at a time. 

Brat Fry sales in the Fall, Spring, and Summer are a great way to participate in some good food and fellowship. We appreciate all your support! We are always accepting Thrivent Action Team cards to help with the cost of supplies! 

Spaghetti Dinner is a Good Shepherd tradition! We transform our gym into an "Italian Ristorante" with an extensive salad bar, spaghetti (meat sauce or marinara sauce), garlic bread, and a large variety of desserts. We need volunteers to donate groceries, money for items, and Thrivent Action Team cards to assist with purchasing items. We appreciate the eager support through donations and ticket purchases for the meal.
