First (Student) Bible

As our children enter 2nd and 3rd grades, we want them to have their own Bible that they can use at home, Sunday School. VBS, and Confirmation classes (catechesis). We have carefully selected a student Bible with additional historical and cultural information, and colorful maps.

Parents are invited forward during the worship service to present the Bible to their child. We encourage you to write a special note to your child in the front or back cover of the new Bible. This Bible is a working tool -- the necessary "spiritual food" to help your child grow -- and he or she will be encouraged to highlight, underline, and write notes as they learn. 

First Student Bibles are handed out each year on the 3rd Sunday of September.
