Nursery/Cradle Roll

Dear Parents,

Congratulations! We at Good Shepherd rejoice with you at the birth and baptism of your child.

Through the sacrament of Baptism and the grace of God, your child is now God’s forgiven child and a member of His family.

As you care for your child, our Good Shepherd family would like to help you with one of your responsibilities—that of your child’s faith development.  You have had the privilege of dedicating your baby to the Lord and now you can help him or her to know our loving God.

Your child is part of Good Shepherd’s Nursery Roll.  The purpose of the Nursery Roll is to provide you with suggestions and resources to aid you in nurturing the Christian faith in your child from infancy to age three.  

STEPPING INTO SUNDAY SCHOOL – The lamb is the symbol for the second stepping stone to reinforce the Baptismal vow of praying for your children and starting them in Christian education with their entry into Sunday  School,  the 3K - 4K class.  As a parent you can model this value by taking a faith step yourself.  Join an adult Bible class to grow in personal discipleship or commit to growing in personal ministry by volunteering in service to children and families so that more children can know about Jesus and his incredible love for them.
